Introductory class - Garden and Landscape design. EVENING CLASS - 6 pm
Nathan Sellers - Landscape architect at Bookcliff Gardens will be offering regular monthly workshops on yard and garden design.
He will cover a wide variety of topics depending on attendees interest. Sun or shade, water or no, what to plant and where to plant it, curb appeal, container gardening -- these are just a few of the possible topics. You can also learn how to draw the trees in your designs and to create just the right groupings by design.
This first class will start with a model house, yard and Nathan will take it from there with lots of visuals to help out. Be sure and attend to take part in suggestions for upcoming classes.
"Using site analysis, like wind direction/intensity, sun availability, and water requirements, plant selection and spatial design through out a site can be determined. Using an existing plan, we'll go through and determine which plants will do well or not and what overall "shape" the yard should be."
