Free Veterans Acupuncture

This is a unique opportunity for our Veterans to find relief from the symptoms associated with PTSD—stress, insomnia, anxiety, pain, symptoms of chemical dependency/withdrawal, and ruminating thoughts to name a few, and is considered a harms reduction therapy.

Jeffrey Turre is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist in Grand Junction, CO. He holds a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Bachelors in Psychology, Teacher Certification in 1000 Hands Buddha Qigong, and is currently working on a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine focused on Integrative Medicine.

Acupuncture is an effective non-verbal, non-chemical treatment that alleviates symptoms, promotes healing,  and in a group setting builds community.

Sessions are held every 2 weeks on Friday afternoons at 4:30.

The program is funded with the help of a DMVA grant and  is free to Veterans.
