This service is free to veterans and eligible family members.  All veterans or family members requesting or already participating please complete the Registration Application  and enter 'Healing Arts' as your reason for applying. This form is only required once per year. Registration per session is required each time.

Tai Chi is back and our sessions will be limited to 12 veterans per session for ease in distancing.

The sessions are on Wednesday from 1 pm to 2 pm.  Registration is required for each session. You can click yes in the email or go to the events page for each session you want to attend and register.

We also need you to complete the online application form for class participation in any of our classes or healing art sessions.

This form will only need to be completed once for the current fiscal year (July 1-June 30) and for subsequent sessions just register on the event calendar or on the link in this email.  But I urge you to please register so I do not need volunteers to enter you.  Registration will eliminate a sign in sheet.

If you have any questions or have trouble getting registered, or just want to confirm you are, you can email me by reply email, or phone the studio at 970-462-3126, or phone or text my cell at 970-424-2312. Text works best since my phone does not always ring and I do not carry it around.

If you register on here and I do not yet have your online form I'll be in touch.

    Welcome Back!!!

    Body Talk

    At the Veterans Art Center

In person sessions held in the Veterans Art Center Gallery.

Body Talk  is a safe, effective and non-invasive form of energy medicine which stimulates the body's innate ability to heal itself on every level: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

The BodyTalk techniques provide insights to the areas of your body that need attention. What might seem like an obvious problem to you is not necessarily the one your body wants to address first.

John Karis is a certified BodyTalk practitioner and an instructor in Maherishi Vedic Sciences for over 40 years. John began specializing in consciousness-based healing in the mid-90's bringing both his training and experience into becoming a BodyTalk practitioner.  He practices in Denver, Frisco and now in Grand Junction.
